Surface grinding is a finishing process that uses a rotating abrasive wheel to smooth a flat surface of material. It achieves close tolerance and a refined finish, with capability for tolerances tighter than .001 inch. Our equipment can be semi-automated, requiring little operator intervention.
A rotating abrasive wheel, work-holding chuck, and reciprocating table deliver flat, refined surfaces to tight tolerance.
