Automotive BIW Fixture Designer

You'll be responsible to lead the design of locating/holding fixtures used in the automated assembly of automotive BIW welding, laser cutting, and material handling systems in accordance to the customer's standards, process objectives, and program timing. The innovative automation solutions we provide will enhance your knowledge and challenge your abilities.

• Design, detail and check the mechanical tool fixtures for various types of automated and material handling equipment, fixtures, and machines.
• Utilize GD&T locating/nesting requirements of the product or sub-assembly.
• Utilize NAAMS and other standard components within the design as required.
• Develop BOMs of commercial and manufactured items used in the design.
• Ensure the fixture is designed to customer specifications.

Required

• 2+ years of Automotive Tool Fixture 3D Design experience required (5+ preferred).
• 1+ year of SolidWorks 2020+ experience (3+ preferred).
• Willing to train in Solidworks if have other CAD system Tooling Design experience.

Additional Skills Preferred

• Assembly processing and automotive BIW manufacturing knowledge a plus.
• Ability to understand electrical/pneumatic schematic drawings a plus.
• Associates degree in CAD Design, or related field, a plus.

CNC Machinist/Programmer

This manufacturing position will operate and program CNC mills to machine steel and aluminum components to blueprint requirements. Qualified candidates must:

• Be capable of operating industrial milling or CNC machines.
• Be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Understand drawing tolerances and requirements.
• Be able to inspect finished work.
• Be able to work independently.
• Good work ethic and attention to details a must.
• Lathe or boring mill experience preferred, but not a must.

Required

• 2+ years of machining experience required (5+ preferred).

MIG Welder/Fabricator

This manufacturing position will perform fit-up and welding of fabrications. Qualified candidates must:

• Be capable of reading and interpreting a tape measure.
• Have experience welding steel and fabrication fit-up.
• Experience cutting metal materials using powered saws is preferred.
• Able to inspect finished work.
• Good work ethic and attention to details a must.

• 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience required (5+ preferred).
